About the forum

The 1st Power To Change Forum on Climate Justice will take place on the 16th November 2022, at the same time where global leaders meet in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt for the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Held fully online, the Power To Change Forum aims to address the link between climate change and social-economics inequalities and the ways to protect the most vulnerable groups and achieve climate justice.

The consequences of the climate crisis are borne unequally as the most vulnerable communities are bearing the biggest burden. On the global scale, the countries with very low carbon footprints are the ones suffering first and most from the effects of climate change.

Purpose

We believe that every human being has the capacity to change the lives of other people on this planet in an earth-shattering way and be the change they want to see in the world. This Power To Change Forum aims to:

1

3

Reframe the definition and values of the mainstream to be more inclusive of all underrepresented communities.

Raise awareness about the fact that every small action count and can lead to a great impact.

Stimulate critical dialogue about climate actions and justice issues for corporations and individuals to collaborate together.

Who are we?

One year ago, organizations from Thailand, Japan and Taiwan started a Journey of discovery. We come together to aggregate our urgency, compassion, experience with social and environmental issues, combine and develop our solution to form the Power to Change Movement.

With the belief that individual matters, we believe that we are people before organization, and hope to empower compassion with existing corporate operation capability, we can make deep sustainable paradigm shifts in society and the economic system. Leveraging cross economic development and networks, together we can lower the learning curve and expedite the advancement. we believe that in the gentle way we can shake the world.

Let's change the world to a better place!
