Our Vision
Numerous environmental and social issues in our society triggered our motivation to make the world better. So, we volunteer as Power to Change Student Ambassador, hoping to be the motivator and changer to show the society that we care and act. We hope to gather more students in the process so that we can be the changer in our home, among our friends and in the society. We are here to help solving environmental and social problem while creating more possibilities for the change.

Who are we
我們是由臺灣各地大學所組成，夥伴們來自臺大、政大、成大、東華等等。此外，不止有臺灣學生，馬來西亞、巴拉圭、印度、貝里斯、印尼等。我們也在為解決臺灣環境與社會問題努力中，並期望透過參與推動過程，讓我們在回到自己國家後能有經驗去解決當地的問題。

Anwar’s interest and passion for the environment started from an early age. After graduating high school he knew that he wanted to do his part un helping our home so decided to major in Environmental Engineering. The earth is being face with pressures that are soon to be beyond repair. Anwar wishes that through community awareness that these issues affecting our home will be resolved thanks to the cooperation of each and everyone of us.

In a country where there is limited natural, financial, technical, and technological resources, things become more personal on all levels. My passion for the environment to create positive change for the development of my country has driven me throughout my personal and professional life. Being a part of Power to Change is another step in the right direction.

In the past, I was a person who could not live without air-conditioning. I was also indifferent to environmental issues. I thought that tragedies such as global warming would happen sooner or later. After going to university, I started to come into contact with some energy issues, and last year I went to Penghu to work and change accommodation for two months, and I saw the natural beauty of the ocean. All kinds of opportunities have made me become interested in actions such as protecting the environment. I hope that through Power to change, I can contribute to the environment and...

Tommy’s awareness on the issue of climate change started when a close friend of his introduced him to her eye-opening world. In this world, there is injustice, horror and agony, all mostly caused by humanity’s negligence. Countless people, animals and plants are victims of the dire consequences of it, yet worse, we - develop countries - are the least affected by it. 近十年來，氣候大幅的變遷，許多地區變得不再適合人類居住，如果短視近利忽略環境保育的重要性，等到能源浩劫或是環境變得過於嚴苛時就來不及了，所以我想在還有機會扭轉情勢的時候，為地球做些什麼。
In this decade, climate changed dramatically. The extreme weather wipes out not only wildlife but also human beings. If we only care about the profits and overlook the importance of our environment , the existential threat might become a catastrophic one! So I want to do something before I still have a chance.

Countless people are in need of help from those who are able. Sometimes, we ourselves become the ones who need help from others. For me, being helped by others has never been absent in my life, while helping others is less seen. Coming from a heart of choosing to give rather than being the ones who is constantly receving, I am looking forward to be a part of a bigger plan designed to give us a chance to give.

林奕馨，最大的夢想是為人、為環境、為世界帶來幸福。對再生能源和電動車抱有熱忱，錄製離岸風電利害關係人紀錄片，研究電池管理系統的挑戰，也在以色列電動車新創實習過。在專業能力上，參加過國際基因工程競賽，利用嵌入式系統，減少魚塭抗生素使用，也利用強化學習設計智慧電網。

As a conservationist at heart and profession, I am trying my best to find ways to mitigate issues generated by the changing scenario of climate change. The changing environment has impacted biodiversity, and the anthropogenic pressure is adding to it. For Danny, it is not until he watched the Taiwanese documentary 2-degree C warming threshold when he realize our living world is in serous crises , a big portion of the population are living in poor conditions suffering from malnutrition and constant natural disaters . From the day on, Danny starts seeing the ignorance of humanity and the injustice happening around the world. I am blessed to be raised in a loving family, living in a country where my life is secured, receiving love and support from others has been constant in my life which I am certain that it is time for me to give back to the society....
